My investigation of job no.24:

The following are the conclusions that i have drawn from my research regarding job option n0.24.Technical Writer is the job for which i have been asked to investigate,it is located in Paris France and requires 2 years relevant experience in the area.

You must be proficient in Java and C++ and have a degree in a technical or scientific area.Experience with Ms Word and drawing tools would also help. You must be a fast learner.motivated, organised,a good communicator and be patient.Ther modules which would help me to aqquire these skills would be programming fundamentals,Discrete maths and algorithmic problom solving.I found that being a native english speaker,I was also akin to what they where asking for. This carreer which I have investigated is one in which I would have a keen interest in pursueing.

From my studies here in cit I can see that this particular carreer would be one that i would be qualified to undertake, the skills which i will develop here such as my program solving abilities would be an asset to this line of work as probloms may arise whichy would need to be solved.
I am pleased that i have taken the time to undergo my investigation of carreer option no 24.

Below I have included a link to the Cit webpage where the modules which i study are outlined.
http://courses.cit.ie/index.cfm

I have discovered that Java is a type of programming language which utilises some of the syntax of c and c++.It first appeared in 1995 by Sun Microsystems. It is described as simple ,secure and exucutable to a high standard. How ever java is reputed by some to run slower and requiring more memory than other languages.

I hyave also divulged that the programming language C++ which would also be used in my job is one which is of mid range in difficulty and widely used as the predominate prograaming language.

I would aqquire these skills by taking the

An understanding of the software and how it all works at a ground level would also be important.Understanding binary be it decimal or hexidecimal would be of a great use,the module i would take for this would be computer architecture http://courses.cit.ie/index.cfm/page/module/moduleId/104

at times probloms would also arrive,it would be of great use to me to use to take the algorithmic problom solving module as to help develop my problom solving abilities. Here is a link to this module http://courses.cit.ie/index.cfm/page/module/moduleId/104

My review of the video game Infamous.

In my opinion, in an sandbox game the two most important parts of the formula are 1. evolving and solid gameplay and 2. an involving city that doesn't grow boring after several hours into the game.

In terms of gameplay, this game really shines. The powers are both fun to use and easy to get the hang of. You can mix different strategies depending on what you are better at and combine different attacks for a lot of fun. The devs did a great job giving you plenty of freedom of movement and it's really fun jumping arond from building to building and sliding on powerlines or monorail tracks.

What the game lacks is a diverse enough city to keep things feeling interesting and fresh throughout the entire game. You see the same characters over and over and things start to feel pretty dull far before the game is over. It also really hurts that the game's missions don't have very much variety to offer. Constantly going underground to earn new powers just feels like painting by numbers after a short while.

The story of the game is pretty good and the voice acting is not too bad, but the lack of variety in the city and lack of variety in the enemies really hurts the game and keeps it from being as fun as it should have been the entire game, which is a real shame because the first half of the game was a complete blast. It just all starts to get stale once you've gotten a little over half way through the game.

With a bigger and better city, more diverse characters and missions, and a couple more options to modify your hero this game would have been a huge hit in my book. Heres hoping the sequal will be able to deliver and take a good game and make it into an exception game.
